(G)I-DLE Had To Change “TOMBOY’s” Point Choreography, Here’s The Adorable Reason Why

(G)I-DLE‘s latest comeback, their first full album I NEVER DIE, proves (G)I-DLE’s immense talents when it comes to singing, dancing, and rapping, and the title track “TOMBOY” is achieving immense success.

The song’s lyrics are powerful, perfectly matching both the tough concept and intense choreography.

The point choreography at the chorus is simple for fans to pick up and replicate, causing both fans and idols to join in on dancing to the song.

It’s difficult to listen to the song and not imagine the already-iconic dance.

But in a recent behind-the-scenes video of the music video filming process for “TOMBOY,” Yuqi and Shuhua revealed that the choreography isn’t what they initially intended.

Yuqi explains that initially, the choreography had the members making finger guns with their hands.

But, unexpectedly, they had to change the choreography.

While Shuhua can do the official choreography perfectly…

She can’t control her fingers properly when trying to make the finger gun shape.

Yuqi suggests that Shuhua can’t control her fingers that way, likely because of something genetic.

Which then, teasingly, Yuqi points out that her own genetics allow her to bend her thumb backward.

And also bend the rest of her fingers in unique ways.

But even though Shuhua may not have been able to do the initial choreography, there’s no denying that the official choreography is iconic and memorable. And it’s hard to imagine it looking any other way.
