GOT7‘s Jay B has proven over and over again that he is the best leader. But after serving as one of the judges on survival show The Origin – A, B, Or What? he has also proven he is one of the most thoughtful and supportive seniors in the industry.
The Origin – A, B, Or What? saw 7 trainees become members of the new group ABØ. The show proved to be a grueling journey, and Jay B consistently expressed his admiration for the hard work the talented trainees displayed throughout it. In episode 6, he offered his advice as a mentor, since one of the groups the trainees were divided into was performing GOT7’s “Hard Carry.”
He proved to be a kind mentor and the performance was a success. The trainees were more than happy with his help, as he was not only patient, but also full of constructive criticism.
Even just one day’s lesson from Jay B was enough to make a difference for the “Hard Carry” team, as even Jay B was impressed by their final performance!
And being the thoughtful person that he is, he actually made an effort to gather support for ABØ during GOT7’s 2022 FANCON HOMECOMING with I GOT 7. While the members hilariously demanded that Ahgase only ever love GOT7, Jay B tried to explain that he had seen the members of ABØ work very hard and that they deserved Ahgase’s support as well.

While Jay B’s members teased him for ‘daring’ to suggest that Ahgase can love other groups…
…the fact that Jay B continues to publicly support ABØ even after the end of The Origin – A, B, Or What? shows that he genuinely has their success at heart, proving he really is one of the most thoughtful seniors in the industry. Ahgases themselves were not only amused by the members’ bickering over fans’ love, but also happy with the sincerity that the members showed.
GOT7 being the realest group they're. Jaebeom telling Ahgases to leave if they wanted bc other groups are great too, then Youngjae demanding Ahgases' love to be just for them. They are so real and transparent and I love them for it. GOT7 is just different man

ABØ are set to make their official debut later this year, so perhaps Ahgases will see Jay B supporting them then as well!
