One person who has recently come out and praised the idol is Jay Park.
Back in April, K-Pop soloist Jay Park dividied the internet when he posted pictures with BTS’s Jungkook. Jay Park posted some adorable pictures with the group’s youngest member.
The fact that it was taken in the recording studio sparked rumors that the duo might be collaborating, which now seems even more likely after the recent news of Jungkook’s collaboration with Charlie Puth.
Yet, it all seemed to be a truly positive experience for both idols and Jay Park couldn’t stop praising Jungkook in the caption of his various posts on social media. He complimented Jungkook for everything from his mindset and humbleness to talent and boxing.

Of course, it received a lot of mixed reactions. Some netizens sharing their excitement about the meeting. Others criticized Jay Park for being “hypocritical” after he previously called K-Pop “manufactured” and “inauthentic” to now using idols for “clout.”
Jay Park then responded to the backlash. Rather than respond to hate with hate, he posted a straightforward tweet with positivity and “love,” including different colored heart emojis.

Well, it seems like, despite the backlash, Jay Park is not afraid to talk about Jungkook and praise BTS’s maknae as much as he can.
On June 16 (KST), Jay Park started an Instagram live with fans, answering questions and talking about what he’s doing. In particular, one fan asked the singer, “What were the emotions when you met Jungkook from BTS?”
When answering, it seems like Jay Park once again had nothing but kind words about the idol, complimenting not only his personality but his insane talent.

In particular, many netizens thought that the fact that Jay Park was praising Jungkook’s vocals and they met in a recording studio might be proof that a collaboration is on the cards. While many were happy to see Jungkook being praised again, others still had mixed feelings about Jay Park.
