Olympic figure skater Cha Jun Hwan already went viral for his visuals once during his season earlier in 2022. His visuals have often been compared to that of an idol, and during the 2022 SBS Gayo Daejun, he brought everyone’s wishes to life by dancing on stage.
He covered BTS‘s “Black Swan” with ENHYPEN‘s Sunghoon and ate. Despite no prior training as an idol, he nailed every move. The audience was particularly in awe of how he made perfect eye contact with the camera like a pro-idol.

Ah f*ck, I’m getting a nosebleed. If a figure skater has better eye contact with the camera than an idol then what are they to do? The industry will get harder, Mr Athlete Cha Jun Hwan.

He really pulled through with the expressions and acting.
We wonder if it was Sunghoon that taught him while they practiced!
He also made a guest appearance as an MC.
He went all out for his first stage debut.
The idol business has some competition! His performance was plastered over Twitter and community sites right after it aired.
- “Crazy…Mr Prince…”
- “What the, why is he so handsome, he looks like a prince.”
- “Mr Prince, you promised to come over to the Dramas Movies Actors category…you did…”
- “Wow, amazing. He’s good at eye contact and his expressions and how he flips his hair is really the stuff of idols.”
- “Really insane.”
Catch a compilation of all his parts below.
