Soloist JAMIE revealed in November that she was dating Goo Min Chul, a former contestant on the military survival show The Iron Squad Season 2 (also known as Steel Troops.)
JAMIE recently opened up with fans about her decision to go public with her relationship on an episode of DIVE Studios‘ Get Real podcast.
JAMIE shared that she was visiting her boyfriend’s KBBQ restaurant in Seoul when she posted photos of them on her Instagram with the caption, “Let’s be happy 
!,” officially taking their relationship public.
The talented singer shared that she went public with the relationship because it was more comfortable not to hide it.
To be honest, I just really wanted to openly just be in a relationship. So I don’t have to, you know, be inside a crowd and just be [secretively] dating.

She explained that she wanted to fully experience the feelings of her relationship and live in the moment because she’ll never have these same experiences again.
JAMIE recently shared a photo from the slopes on a ski trip with her now ex-boyfriend. The photos were soon replaced with new posts on her Instagram story, where she exposed her ex-boyfriend for cheating.
She then reveals that he is unaware that she knows, while JAMIE estimates he’s seeing multiple other women.
Proving to be the confident person fans know her to be, she declared that he is “out of [her] life” and that she’s going to choose to channel her feelings into the creative process of writing a song about it.
She concluded her Instagram story by seemingly responding to supportive messages from fans.
At this time, her ex-boyfriend, Goo Min Chul, has yet to acknowledge the accusations and still has a photo of the two on their ski trip on his Instagram story.
Fans are already voicing their support for JAMIE as they react to her Instagram stories.
