Actress Sued For Having An Adulterous Affair Once Had To Apologize For Exposing Herself On At A Red Carpet Event

Recently, news of actress Ha Na Gyeong being ordered to pay her affair partner’s wife made headlines.

On July 18, a Busan court ordered that the actress pay the victim (“A”)₩15.0 million KRW (about $11,900 USD) for having inappropriate relations with A’s husband.

According to reports, Ha Na Gyeong became pregnant after meeting A’s husband at an adult establishment in Busan in 2021, continuing the affair until April 2022.

The actress reportedly called A after A’s husband did not pursue a divorce and revealed her relationship with the man. Ha Na Gyeong claimed to have not known they were married and claims that A only learned her husband was cheating because of her.

I told A about the affair to cut off ties with her husband, even if he divorced her, and even if that meant I would raise the child alone. If it weren’t for me, A would have never known about B’s true nature — yet, she framed me and is making me, the victim, into the perpetrator. Although I have suffered from her (A) husband’s lies, and the mental and physical anguish from having an abortion, she has been demanding monetary compensation from me, even though I have committed no crimes.

While the actress has made appearances in multiple movies like Touch by Touch and At The Beginning, It’s All Good. she is most remembered for a red carpet incident she was forced to apologize for.

In 2012, Ha Na Gyeong was among the numerous celebrities attending the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards. She wore a sexy v-cut dress that revealed much of her cleavage.

While sexy dresses are common at awards shows, what happened as she walked the carpet was not. The actress appeared to fall, exposing one of her breasts.

Around the same time, other stars also suffered red-carpet wardrobe malfunctions that many believed were done purposely for attention. This was the case with Ha Na Gyeong’s incident as well, and she later apologized for it happening.
