BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Chooses The Emojis That Best Represent Each Member, And It Shows Their True Personalities

BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo recently participated in the ELLE Korea emoji interview, celebrating her feature in the magazine’s August 2023 edition.

During her interview, Jisoo was asked to choose an emoji that best represents her fellow members. The emojis she chose and the reasons why represent the group members’ true personalities.

Here’s what Jisoo thinks of her fellow members!

1. Rosé

Jisoo chose the party face emoji and smiling face with hearts emoji to describe Rosé, stating that the younger member has an infectiously positive attitude.

Rosé is always energetic, like she’s at a party. Whenever we talk she’s positive and has high energy, so much that I think she has something good going on.

2. Lisa

For the group’s maknae Lisa, Jisoo chose the fire emoji and baby chick emoji because she’s consistently surprised by Lisa’s hot performances on stage.

On stage nowadays, Lisa does a lot of hot performances that make me go, ‘Wow, when did you prepare something like this?’

3. Jennie

Jisoo chose the laughing emoji as the one that best represents Jennie because she’s spreading joy and humor through viral videos and online content that she records to share with Jisoo.

She added that Jennie is “always laughing” which reassures Jisoo that Jennie is happy.

When she watches shorts or content and finds something funny, she’ll film it as well and then show me. ‘Do you know this? It’s trending.’

Finally, Jisoo was asked which emoji best describes her iconic partnership with Dior. Jisoo has been a global ambassador for the French luxury brand since 2021, and her effortless embodiment of the timeless brand has led to nicknames such as “Dior’s princess” and “human Dior.”

Jisoo first picked the gift emoji, stating that she and Dior are a gift to each other. When asked if she knew about her “Dior’s princess” nickname, Jisoo then hilariously added the crown emoji.

During her interview, Jisoo was also asked if she had a “rare” or unexpected side to her personality.
