“A F*cking Sweetie”: The Kid LAROI Tells All About Collaborating With BTS’s Jungkook

Australian singer-songwriter The Kid LAROI, BTS‘s Jungkook, and British rapper Central Cee just came out with their collaboration single “TOO MUCH.”

While this seems like an unexpected collaboration, it’s not all too surprising, considering Jungkook and The Kid LAROI are technically labelmates under HYBE. Still, The Kid LAROI explained the process of working with Jungkook in promotions for “TOO MUCH.”

The Kid LAROI was looking for someone like Canadian artist Justin Bieber, who he collaborated with on his hit song “STAY.” Jungkook soon came to mind.

Who can do that same thing in the hook that Justin did? …Who has not only the voice but that star power? Somebody that when you hear that voice, you’re like that is f*cking it. …Jungkook 100% without a doubt.

The Kid LAROI got Jungkook on board, and he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Although they’re both under HYBE, it was The Kid LAROI’s first time meeting with Jungkook, who he described as a “sweetie.”

We sent it to him, he cut it, it sounded incredible. We shot the video. They’re both the sweetest ever. I hadn’t met JK. It was my first time meeting JK. Such a f*cking sweetie, such a sweetheart! I’m very blessed to have these two guys on it, they really inspire me.

In an interview for the TOO MUCH magazine from The Kid LAROI’s pop-up event, he talked more about working with both Jungkook and Central Cee. Jungkook was especially excited about shooting the MV.
