TXT‘s Soobin, Hueningkai, and Beomgyu were the most recent guests on the popular variety program The K-Star Next Door.
During their hilariously chaotic episode, the members discussed their relationship with HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk, the inner workings of their group dynamic, and their reputations as “hot guys.”
Throughout the episode, host Jonathan Thona put the members in the hot seat as he read trending and popular keywords and phrases while asking the trio to clarify or explain what the keyword had to do with them.
One subject he had the group explain was their roles within TXT’s songs.
TXT’s Beomgyu was named the master of introductions, as he sings opening lines in many of the group’s songs.
Beomgyu explained that he opens the songs because he helps “draw peoples’ attention” with his talents and handsome visuals, making them curious about which member will appear next.
Jonathan Thona asked if the other members agreed with Beomgyu’s interpretation, and Soobin spoke up with another point of view.
Leader Soobin jokingly shared that Beomgyu sings the opening lines because he can’t hit the high notes, to which Beomgyu hilariously pointed out that he and Soobin have the same vocal range.
As they playfully fought over who could sing higher notes, Jonathan Thona hilariously diffused the tension by asking who the “most good-looking” member was in the room.
Soobin spoke first, saying he was embarrassed as he declared there are three “top hot guys” in Korea. The talented TXT leader named actors Won Bin and Hyun Bin as two of the hot guys before naming himself as the third.
As Soobin and Beomgyu had both acknowledged their handsome visuals, Jonathan Thona wanted to know what Hueningkai thought.
The TXT maknae hilariously stated that he often sings the chorus of the group’s songs while insinuating that he gets the coveted lines because he’s handsome.
Beomgyu interjected to say that it’s because Hueningkai can sing high notes, while the maknae added that it’s also because he’s good-looking.
TXT recently dropped their new single, “Chasing That Feeling,” with an accompanying music video in which the members flex their vocal and dance talents while showing off their handsome visuals.
