TXT’s Beomgyu And Hueningkai Think Soobin’s Leadership Style Has Changed

TXT‘s Soobin, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai were the most recent guests on the popular variety program, The K-Star Next Door, and as with each guest, the trio participated in the “K-Profile” segment of the show.

During the “K-Profile” segment, host Jonathan Thona presented TXT with trending keywords or phrases associated with their group, allowing them to clarify or explain its true meaning.

One of the phrases was “iron hand in a velvet glove,” which Jonathan Thona explained was associated with TXT’s leader Soobin.

Jonathan elaborated, saying the phrase was used to express how Soobin had a kind face but led the group with a “not-so-kind attitude,” and wondered what the TXT members thought of the description.

Beomgyu partially agreed with the statement, saying that the group originally thought he had an “iron hand in a velvet glove” but jokingly stated that they now think he has an “iron hand in an iron glove.”

As Beomgyu continued his explanation, Jonathan hilariously had to intervene, playfully telling Soobin not to glare at Beomgyu while he told his story.

Hueningkai encouraged Beomgyu to continue talking before sharing his own experiences with Soobin.

The TXT maknae stated that Soobin is an honest leader and will provide necessary feedback for a better performance, even if the truth is difficult to hear.

If someone in the group stated their dancing or singing skills were in good condition on a particular day, but Soobin disagreed, Hueningkai loved that he was honest enough to let them know.

Beomgyu concluded that Soobin is an “iron hand in an iron glove” and Jonathan, who was sitting next to Soobin, hilariously declared he was moving on from the segment before he faced Soobin’s “iron glove.”

The TXT members frequently share their gratitude for Soobin’s leadership and unanimously chose him to be their leader before their debut, proving they were only teasing him during the episode.
