ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Praised For Make Out Scene In New “A Good Day To Be A Dog” Episode

MBC‘s romantic comedy K-Drama A Good Day to Be a Dog, starring ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo (also known as Cha Eun Woo) and actress Park Gyu Young (Celebrity, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Dali & Cocky Prince, and Sweet Home) as Jin Seo Won and Han Hae Na, respectively, just released its ninth episode. The show is adapted from the Naver Webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey, who also wrote the recently adapted See You in My 19th Life.

Due to a family curse, teacher Han Hae Na turns into a dog at midnight for six hours after kissing someone for the first time. This transformation repeats itself until they kiss the same person. So, chaos ensued when she accidentally kissed fellow teacher Jin Seo Won, who hates dogs.

It tells the story of a woman who turns into a dog when she kisses, and a man who is the only cheat key to solve the curse but is afraid of dogs.

Last week, at the end of Episode 8, Hae Na transformed into a dog in front of Seo Won, and he finally broke the curse by kissing her. In the Epilogue, they shared another kiss as humans, finally becoming a couple. The scene went viral on social media among K-Pop fans shocked by Eunwoo’s passionate kissing.

Now, in Episode 9, the new couple attempted to keep their relationship a secret at the workplace, the school they both teach at, due to the principal’s warning against PDA (Public Displays of Affection). So, they made plans for a date after school.

Hae Na went with Seo Won to his home while his nephew, Choi Yul (Yoon Hyun Soo), was visiting a friend’s house. Naturally, being alone was sending many romantic ideas through her head. Yet, the plans got sabotaged when their coworker, Seo Won’s friend, Lee Bo Gyeom (Lee Hyun Woo), showed up at the door to hang out. If that wasn’t enough, the nephew returned home shortly after, too. So, Hae Na hid in Yul’s closet.

Meanwhile, Seo Won attempted to distract his friend and nephew by putting on a movie to watch. Luckily, he chose a boring film for them to fall asleep to.

Finally, Seo Won could return to Hae Na, and he found her in the closet. She appeared to have fallen asleep too, so he gently touched her face, waking her up, to which she kissed his hand.

This granted him permission to do what he really wanted. Seo Won leaned into the closet past the clothes and kissed her, and unexpectedly, the two shared a private make-out session in his nephew’s closet.

Viewers were impressed by the chemistry and sexual tension they felt through the screen! Eunwoo’s kiss scenes continue to get better and even more passionate.
