Producer Benny Blanco Officially Confirms BTS And Snoop Dogg Collaboration—Here’s All You Need To Know

One of the most iconic collabs of all time has officially been confirmed!

It’s been long speculated that BTS and American rapper, media personality, and actor Snoop Dogg would be collaborating since he revealed the group reached out to him. Yet, a third party is involved: American record producer, DJ, songwriter, and record executive Benny Blanco.

Back in January, Snoop Dogg revealed that BTS had reached out to him about working together. In March, he confirmed the collaboration while doing interviews on the American Song Contest red carpet.

Snoop Dogg once again shared information about what was happening behind the scenes. Singer and TV host Danielle DeLaite, who interviewed BTS in 2017, got more info from Snoop Dogg while interviewing semi-finalists for American Song Contest. 

On the other hand, Benny Blanco has not said much until now…

He has subtly been dropping hints this year, tweeting his love for BTS and attending concerts.

Yet, ARMYs were confused when he did a “random” sketch video with BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE founder and chairman Bang Si Hyuk (known more fondly as Bang PD by ARMYs or Hitman Bang) and Scooter Braun.

I know you guys are super busy. I just want to let you know that, ever since you guys brought me to that [BTS] concert, I can’t stop thinking about the group. I’m dancing, I’ve been singing, and I just think I could be in the band.

And we should have known something was up when BTS joined in on it and released their own video in response.

It turns out that it was all teasing an official collab!

Today, Benny Blanco revealed that he, BTS, and Snoop Dogg are releasing a new single titled “Bad Decisions” on August 5.

And he even shared a release schedule, and there will be a music video and even more content to look forward to!

Considering these three artists have produced and released some of the best songs of our time, we can expect something great.

According to the press release, the vocal line is guaranteed to feature!

And Jungkook has already teased some…

Snoop Dogg was in Las Vegas at the exact time as both BTS and Benny Blanco, so we should have known!

Now the only thing that we are still a little confused about… Xbox is involved.
