Six-member global girl group KATSEYE recently debuted after being formed by HYBE and Geffen Records‘ survival show The Debut: Dream Academy.
One of these members is Lara, an 18-year-old Indian American. She garnered attention early on due to her talent and stunning visuals.
Yet, it turns out it runs in the family!
Lara has an older sister who is also a singer-songwriter, pop star, and actress. Meet Rhea Raj!
Rhea, who is 23 years old, grew up in New Jersey but is now based in New York. She first became interested in music due to her mother’s teaching of Bollywood dance and Indian classical music. At ten years old, she started music training.
She auditioned for Season 15 of the American singing competition show American Idol in 2016. She was only 15 years old!
Rhea launched her pop career a few years ago in 2019, releasing “2AM,” Royalty,” “You’re a Star,” and “Need Me.” She has been consistently releasing songs over the past years. Recently, Rhea released her new song, “OUT OF BODY.”
Last month, she dropped “Oops! Ur Single Now,” with the music video filmed in Seoul.
Rhea did recently share her new K-Beauty skincare routine. While Lara likely learned a lot about music from her older sister, it’s likely Rhea learned a few things from her younger sister, too!
